Venice, Florida – A new era for volleyball and pickleball athletes is set to begin in Venice, Florida, with the unveiling of a cutting-edge multisport facility. Global Sports Institute (GSI) is designed to nurture future sports champions and is spearheaded by renowned professional athletes Donald Suxho, a two-time US Olympian, and Yury Shakirov, the facility promises an unparalleled training environment for both serious and aspiring athletes.

The state-of-the-art complex features 4 indoor volleyball courts equipped with Teraflex flooring imported from France, all essential equipment aimed at honing the skills of volleyball professionals of tomorrow. The doors of this world-class facility will soon open for athletes to participate in specialized volleyball camps and, multi sport youth camps, and club pre-tryout clinics, volleyball club, offering a golden opportunity to train under the guidance of seasoned pros with over 35 years of combined international experience.

Donald Suxho and Yury Shakirov's International Volleyball Experience:

Having competed in two Olympic Games, Suxho has faced some of the world's finest athletes on the volleyball court. His experience extends beyond the Olympics, with significant contributions to teams in Italy, Greece, Russia, Turkey and Argentina where the level of competition is renowned for being particularly high. This exposure to different styles of play and high-pressure situations has equipped Suxho with a unique perspective on the game, something he is passionate about passing on to the next generation.

Yury Shakirov, on the other hand, boasts an impressive track record in volleyball, marked by his involvement in high-caliber leagues across Europe. His experience playing in Russian Super league starting at the age of 16, one of volleyball's powerhouse countries, has given him an in-depth understanding of the strategic and physical demands of the sport at the highest level. Shakirov's career has been defined by his resilience, tactical intelligence, and leadership on the court - qualities that he aims to instill in young athletes at the multisport facility in Venice, Florida. 

Together, Suxho and Shakirov bring over 35 years of international volleyball experience to their roles as founders and trainers at the new facility. Their collective knowledge, skills, and passion for volleyball promise to provide an enriching, world-class training environment for both aspiring and serious athletes.
