The Venice YMCA is launching planning for its 2027 Signature Fundraising Event, and we are assembling a select steering committee of emerging leaders who are shaping the future of Venice. This committee is designed for leaders who want to make a visible, meaningful impact - not just attend events, but help lead one. 

Why This Committee Matters

The YMCA is more than a building - it is a cornerstone for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in our community. The 2027 Signature Event will directly support programs serving children, families, and seniors across Venice and the surrounding areas. 

This steering committee will: 

•    Help guide the vision and tone of the event

•    Connect the YMCA with new audiences and supporters

•    Become ambassadors for a mission with real, measurable impact

What steering committee members do:

•    Commit to serving from Spring 2026 through February 2027

•    Attend monthly meetings

•    Help open doors to peers, sponsors, and attendees

•    Make ( or meaningfully support) a personally significant contribution
