Herrera Psychology, a Sarasota-based youth mental health practice dedicated to supporting children and families, is co-hosting a free Homeschool Back to School Bash on Friday, August 14, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Music Compound, located at 775 Bell Rd, Sarasota, FL 34240.

The event is open to all families — whether they are currently homeschooling or simply exploring the option — and offers a rare opportunity to get real answers, expert guidance, and meaningful connection with other homeschooling families in the community. Event Highlights Include:

• 10:00 AM | Navigating Homeschooling — Leandra Yates, M.Ed., shares exclusive insights into curriculum, routines, and strategies to avoid overwhelm for families at every stage of their homeschooling journey.
• 10:30 AM | Homeschooling Differently Wired Learners — Dr. Stacie Herrera of Herrera Psychology addresses the unique needs of children with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Anxiety, and other learning differences, offering practical strategies for families navigating these challenges.
• 11:00 AM | Homeschool Parent Panel (Main Stage) — Moderated by Justine, Ed.S., this live panel features experienced homeschooling families sharing their stories and answering questions directly from attendees.

In addition to the speaker sessions, attendees can enjoy a coffee truck, browse local vendors, take tours of the Music Compound, win door prizes or giveaways, and connect with other homeschooling families in the area.
