The Child Protection Center (CPC) is pleased to welcome Sarah Tar, a banking executive with PNC Bank, to its Board of Directors. With more than 20 years of banking and commercial finance experience, Tar brings extensive expertise in strategic growth, financial management, and relationship development to support CPC’s mission of preventing, intervening in, and treating child abuse.

Throughout her career, Sarah has focused on helping businesses achieve sustainable growth, advising clients on capital strategies, expansion opportunities, and long-term financial planning while building trusted relationships across the Sarasota business community.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Tar is deeply committed to serving the Sarasota community. She currently serves on the boards of CareerSource Suncoast and the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Sarasota County, where she supports workforce development, economic growth, and regional prosperity. Her volunteer efforts have also included supporting numerous organizations dedicated to strengthening families and improving the lives of children, including the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Easterseals Southwest Florida, Instride Therapy, Habitat for Humanity, Women's Resource Center, and Mothers Helping Mothers. Through both her professional and volunteer leadership, Tar has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to creating opportunities and improving outcomes for local families
