About Us
Sarasota K-9 Search & Rescue, inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-government organization of highly trained, highly motivated, nationally certified volunteers and K9s. The mission of Sarasota K9 SAR is to strengthen and assist local, state, and national first responders with a professional, well-organized, and well-trained team of handlers and K9s. Our goal is to help find missing children & adults, and rescue or recover lost or trapped persons. We also help law enforcement locate evidence in cold cases and potential crime scenes. We strive to ensure the safest and most positive outcome of each deployment.
