About Us

Loveland Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Venice, Florida that offers a full range of life skills development programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple locations: Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte and Bradenton.

Loveland's Mission is to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live their lives to the fullest.

Loveland Center provides life skills development programs that:

Promote daily life skills such as self-care and personal development;
Improve independent living skills such as money management, community access, and home management
Strengthen employment skills that can lead to building a successful career, thereby leading to increased independence and self-reliance.

Through each of Loveland’s programs, individuals are educated and supported to live as independently as they can, as well as inspired and encouraged to become active members of their communities. Individuals, regardless of their abilities, can discover untapped potential, build self-confidence, and further develop skills that will last a lifetime.
