Englewood Hospital has been serving the area since 1985 and is a 100-bed acute care hospital, offering a wide variety of healthcare services including cardiology, emergency care, general surgery, an Endocrine surgery program, imaging, rehabilitation, orthopedics urology and wound care. The Joint Commission recognized the hospital as a Primary Stroke Center in 2021. The hospital was named a Top 100 Hospital by Fortune/IBM Watson for the second time in 2021, and Best Emergency Care every year since 2012 by the readers of the Englewood Sun. It has also earned 18 consecutive “A” grades for hospital safety by The Leapfrog Group as of fall, 2021.
