DESCRIPTION:The Venice Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Venice Fire Rescue Is coordinating a CPR AED Training Program for its business members.\n\n \n\nAmerican Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR AED is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs CPR AED training and a course completion card for job\, regulatory (e.g. OSHA) or other requirements.  This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.\n\n\n\nThis is a 2 part blended learning program with an online portion followed by a hands-on skill session.\n\n\n\n1)  Heartsaver CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver CPR AED Blended Learning Course.  Online course run times range from 1 hour to 1   hours based on the individual learner. Online course cost is $15 and recommended student workbook is $2.50.\n\nThe link to purchase the online course will be sent separately after registration with the Chamber.\n\n \n\nUpon completion of the online portion\, you should receive a confirmation of class completion.\n\nThis confirmation paper must be brought to the hands-on skills session.\n\n \n\n2)  Hands-on Skill Session on Friday\, August 20th  **CLASS IS FULL. NEW DATE TBD.\n\nAll students must also complete a hands-on skills practical session which can be completed in about 30 minutes.  Details on new date\, time and location for Hands-On Skill Session will be provided to registrant. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited.  There is no additional cost for the Hands-On Skill Session\, but you must signup with the Venice Chamber to reserve your spot and receive the link to purchase the online course and workbook.
